When JetBlue University was gearing up for a re-roofing project, they knew the roof needed to be replaced—urgently. What they didn’t anticipate was the potential risk that came with it: dirt, dust, and debris making its way inside their state-of-the-art flight training facility.
This isn’t just any facility - We're talking about a building full of highly sensitive, incredibly expensive flight simulators that operate 24/7. Shutting them down for cleaning or repairs because of overhead debris would have meant serious downtime and a costly hit to their operations.
The Ceiling Containment System we installed had to be done right the first time—and done safely. Working at heights of 35 to 40 feet inside their high-tech facility using mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs), every move we made was calculated. To make sure nothing was left to chance, we brought in multiple ground spotters, diligently keeping an extra set of eyes on the machinery, the environment, and guiding our team’s every move. That level of caution and coordination isn’t optional when you're working around multi-million dollar simulators.
This project wasn’t just about installing a containment system. It was about showing up when the client needed us most, listening to what was important to them, and delivering a solution that protected what matters most to their business. We understand how high the stakes are when facilities like JetBlue University trust us with their space. And we don’t take that lightly.
From last-minute mobilization to working around their schedule and simulators with extreme caution and care, our goal was simple: protect their operations so they could keep doing what they do best—training pilots, around the clock, without interruption.
At Nusens, we're not just contractors; we're dedicated partners in protecting your business.
